This is a compilation of my live performances playing support for the Paul Colman Trio on the 2001 ‘Serious Fun’ tour. Seven of the twelve songs have not been recorded on any other album.

Whatever It Takes (2001)
When I recorded this album I think I really wanted to see how far I could push my songs towards a polished sound without compromising the honest feel I always strive for in songwriting. David Carr’s production skills proved fantastic and I believe we took this album right to the edge of ‘polished but still Claire’. I enjoy this album. (Yes, on occasion I actually sit down and listen to my own music!)
TRACK LISTING:-
In Love With You
Finest Unreliable Friend
Raging Sea
Selfish Song
Only A Fool
The Field
Claire Hazzard (2000)
This is my favourite album from the early days. There is a nice mix of mellow acoustic tracks and fun up-beat songs. I produced ‘Raging Sea’ all by myself which was a bit of a childhood dream - to be able to sing all these different parts which I could hear in my head, using my voice like an instrument, and then hear all this mixed together

The Goodness and Severity (1997)
This was my first ever album. There are people who tell me they really like this album, but I don’t! Trying to be positive I could say... it’s cute, and it has a bit of a celtic sound because I was listening to the Corrs and Riverdance when we recorded it. My 19 year old heart and soul were poured into the lyrics, that’s for sure. It was a real learning curve and if nothing else, a whole lot of fun!
